The 5 week plan

The 5-week plan is a 5 week online course to help you use yoga and wellness to create a consistent yoga practice that benefits your mental health.

This is for women at any stage in their practice who, like myself, have faced challenges connecting with their bodies, finding joy in movement, and grappling with the weight of mental health.

I’m here to help you feel confident to self practice, love moving your body, use meditation and breath-work to self soothe and finally start feeling like you’re living in alignment with your best self.

You’ll learn with me twice a week in private online sessions and explore the physical practice of yoga: strength, flexibility and mobility, as well as meditation and breath-work for the days that you need anxiety relief and to pick you up from low moods.

You will be supported by me weekly as I check-in via emails to recap on classes and provided resources, you have unlimited email Q+A opportunities throughout the 5 weeks.

And as an extra get FREE access to my weekly group classes to really cement your practice and put your learning to use in a group setting.

Discovery call

When paying you will be prompted to select a date for our discovery call. The call will last up to 60 minutes and this is when I will ask you all of the questions about your struggles, goals and desires to help me, help you.

X2 weekly private sessions

After your discovery call, I will send you a link to my calendar for you to book your private classes. They will last for 60 minutes via teams twice a week, following the syllabus.

Weekly check-ins

THE 5 WEEK PLAN

The syllabus

WEEK ONE: creating consistency

Learn the basics of the physical practice and explore flows that can be practiced alone to deepen your self practice. We will break down pose variations and modifications as well as ways you can stay consistent going forward.

WEEK TWO: catch your breath

Explore powerful breath-work to soothe anxiety, stress and low moods. With these easy to follow instructions you will feel confident to self practice at any point in your day. We will also begin adding mobility to your physical practice for a wider range of movement.

WEEK THREE: a quiet moment

Unlock your mind with meditation, easy to follow meditation for your off days when moving doesn’t feel like an option. Take a simple approach to wellness and slow down with meditation. A strong mind from meditation also needs a strong body, begin strengthening the physical body in this weeks asana practice.

WEEK FOUR: bend don’t break

Let’s get flexible with asanas for lengthening the muscles. Learn what it really means to add flexibility into your practice and adopt a mindset of bending not breaking both on and off the mat.

WEEK FIVE: full circle

Take a moment to reflect with journaling and a whole asana practice inclusive of meditation and breath-work. Put your skills to use now that you are a confident yoga practitioner.

Meet your teacher

Thanks for reading through all of that information, you seem really keen to get started with me which is why it’s also important that you know a little bit about me too.

I have been practicing yoga for 6 years and teaching for 2.5, yoga and wellness is my way of life and what keeps me aligned but I wasn’t always the version of me that you see today. I was anxious, depressed and hated moving my body, I did it to look a certain way not to feel good or enjoy moving my body.

When I first tried yoga I hated it, it felt to raw, too confronting, too real. I didn’t have the capacity at the time to sit with uncomfortable emotions but I’m so glad I tried again at a later date and this time I LOVED IT and gained so much peace from it.

I also remember feeling so seen and held by my teachers, I truly felt supported and like I belonged to a community. I knew this feeling was too magical to keep to myself and I had to do my teacher training to give other women this feeling and help them feel better mentally and physically.

My YTT challenged me in ways I didn’t know I needed to be challenged but I pulled through and became the teacher I am today. I can proudly say my anxiety and depression has eased, I love moving my body its such a privilege and when I do have down days I have healthy ways of coping.
